Breakfast meatloaf sliders

"Beefy"

How often do we eat beef for breakfast? Depending on where you live that may be a whole lot, but in my family, not very often. We do pork sausages, bacon and chicken. The only time we will do beef for breakfast is when we are having dinner left overs. I wanted to do a recipe that was not a typical beefy dinner recipe. This is basically a beef breakfast sausage seasoned as if it were a meatloaf. Paired with all the yummy things you would expect to see on a breakfast platter.

Chocolate fried chicken tenders with maple ketchup

"Feast of Saint Valentine"

Yummy time, fried chicken never gets old, ever! Especially when it’s dredged in cocoa flour before fried, and drizzled with maple ketchup. Is it something for the kids or something for the kid in you? I’m still unsure.

Chocolate chip pancakes

"Feast of Saint Valentine"

The only thing better than fluffy thick and light pancakes are fluffy chocolate chip thick and light pancakes. I took my classic pancake recipe and brought it to new heights buy adding one simple ingredient; chocolate!
I am always amazed at how folding stiff egg whites into a batter can change the game. It makes the pancakes so incredibly thick and fluffy. An in addition to this wonderful texture there are pockets of melted milk chocolate chips throughout every bite. There is really no difference with this pancake than my original fluffy pancake recipe other than the addition of chocolate chips. If you are a true pancake connoisseur and you love my original recipe, I’m sure you have been adding blueberries and chocolate chips to the batter long before I have.

Crunchy Pumpkin vanilla bean French toast

“Pumpkin Everythang”

Syrup optional, the French toast that can stand on its own is here. It packs loads of flavor and is perfectly sweet. The best way to enjoy pumpkin for breakfast and a great way to trick your kids into eating pumpkin without the slightest clue as to what’s really filling their bellies and delighting their taste buds.

Cocoa maple grilled wings

"Feast of Saint Valentine"

Every chocolate month I attempt to combine chocolate with a protein. Last year I did a chocolate raspberry ribs which were quite nice.  However this year, these wings were an even bigger hit. They are sweet and salty and Smokey and lovely. All the ingredients go so well together. I will definitely be making these again.
