Caramel Apple Pie

3.14

No way I could have a month of pies and not do an apple pie. In the world of pies, apple pie is president and pumpkin pie is vice. I had some caramel sauce left over from some bread pudding I made and decided it would be perfect with some granny smith apples. Quite possibly the best use I have ever found for left over caramel.

Hazelnut Bread pudding

"Christmas is coming"

When you have stale bread, there is no better way to use them up than to make a bread pudding. And this recipe is truly the best bread pudding recipe ever.  It is extremely flavorful, rich in hazelnut flavors and a hint of Jamaican chocolate.  You may end up purchasing bread just to make it.

Butter popcorn ice-cream with caramel and cracker-jack

Call me the Dairy Queen

This month is National Ice-cream Month in the US and it’s still “summa summa summa timeeee”, so I decided a month of delicious, unique and extravagant ice-creams are in order. Today I present to you the most delicious ice-cream I have ever made to date. (I still have 8 more to go for the month so that may change) It’s so creamy and buttery, taste exactly like butter popcorn with the addition of cracker jacks and caramel makes it even more perfect!

Pumpkin Panna Cotta with ginger Caramel

"Pumpkin Everythang”

We end Pumpkin month with a final dessert

While brainstorming dessert ideas for pumpkin month I saw another blogger make a coconut panna cotta it looked like a dish of queso fresco. I thought what’s a Panna cotta? GOOGLE!!
It’s a word I have heard before, but I was not really one hundred percent sure what it was. At first sight I thought it was a flan, but after more reading realized it’s the flans Italian cousin that uses no eggs. Its basically a pudding served cold.
